From shooting sport enthusiast to artisanal maker of excellence weapons

Alexandre Coratella started shooting sports at 18. He made his debut with 4.5mm caliber pellet rifle at 10 meter from a standing position. Then he entered competition naturally on 50 meters rifle prone with a .22 long rifle caliber.

At 20 years old, he joined the National Service as grenadier voltigeur and tank gunner.

He had to temporarily pause shooting sessions and competitive shooting when he started his professional life, while at the same time training in the fields of explosives with a specialization in black power. After the training, he became driller-pyrotechnist and handled and operated explosives in quarries.

Alexandre Coratella then resumes non-competitive shooting with handguns in multiple calibers, as well as with period long guns. He expands his professional training to the fields of explosives, firearms, ballistics (5.56 mm to 155 mm) and resistance of materials.

Driven by his creative nature, he then decides to unite hobbies, interests and career and starts to design and make unique firearms for discerning amateurs attracted by atypical and high-end pieces.
Alexandre Coratella’s artillery guns are the result of the long development of this project.
